Based in Westside, FAC agronomy also has a branch in Schleswig. Services range from a comprehensive crop input program to direct retail product sales.
Seed
FAC Agronomy is a major corn and soybean seed seller for companies such as Monsanto (Asgrow and DeKalb), Stine, Syngenta, Garst and Mychogen (Liberty Link). Professional agronomists will help you pick the right seed for your farm.
Chemicals
FAC uses a two-tier price system.
Tier One – Customer applies chemicals, with limited services included. Customers can buy consulting time from agronomists.
Tier Two – FAC Agronomy custom application. Five rogators and three floates apply pre- and post-emerge chemicals.

Fertilizer application equipment includes three floaters, an AirMax and a spinner spreader.
FAC is one of four investors in Templeton Crop Nutrients, a 22,000-ton fertilizer hub. The hub improves the supply and logistics, as dry fertilizer arrives by rail.
GPS
FAC Agronomy’s GPS is a comprehensive soil management program that improves yields and profits. FAC uses Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology to place the right nutrients where needed.
GPS is a four-year program. Fields are soil sampled on 2.2- or 4.4-acre grids. Samples are analyzed and the results are fed into a program that generates detailed soil maps showing nutrient needs. FAC uses GPS to custom apply nutrients right where they are needed. Input costs are reduced while consistently improving crop yields.
